World Faith: The Interfaith Service Network

World Faith Pakistan Women’s Adult Education Ceremony 1 August , 2011

Interfaith Youth in Action’s (IYA), a Project of Youth Development Foundation (YDF) and a local Chapter of World Faith, celebrated the completion of 25 domestic worker women who completed a six month Adult Education/literacy course. Interfaith Youth Action’s mission is to promote the importance of adult education in needed communities of Pakistan. This program is not only a way to help improve the lives of these women, but it stands as an example of interfaith youth collaboration and cooperation. The program provides safe spaces and opportunities for young volunteers of diverse faiths to interact and dialogues while educating and transforming skills these women of diverse religious and backgrounds.
