Seven New Jersey leaders will be honored tonight at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany for the years of service they have devoted to building relationships in their communities.
The Interfaith Dialog Center awards have been handed out each spring since 2008 to publicly recognize the achievements of individuals who have distinguished themselves in their profession, community and their service to humanity and New Jersey.
“We just try to appreciate people’s accomplishments,” said Levent Koç, CEO at the Interfaith Dialog Center in Newark.
“The recipients are all from different religious backgrounds and different races, and the concentration here is on diversity. It’s a way to just thank people for their service to New Jersey.”
