Interfaith Seder brings people of all backgrounds together 28 April , 2011

Winnipeg – The 19th annual Interfaith Model Passover Seder, led by Rabbi Alan Green, was attended by 80-some people last Tuesday evening at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, put on by the Manitoba region of B’nai Brith Canada.

David Matas, B’nai Brith’s senior legal counsel who participated in the seder, said, “When religion was more prevalent, communities of faith emphasized their differences. Now we realize how much we share.  Events like this establish that commonality on a person-to-person level, bridging understanding across the theological divide.”
